As the Visual Brand & Design Lead, you will be responsible for evolving and maintaining YouGov’s global visual identity, ensuring a strong and cohesive brand presence across all channels, assets and offices. You will play a key role in ensuring consistency and excellence in our brand execution, helping us to stand-apart from others in the Market Research industry.
Join our dynamic London-based team of 5, collaborating with a global marketing team of 65+ to shape YouGov’s visual brand on a worldwide scale. As a key creative leader, you’ll oversee our global Design Services team of 6, ensuring the production of high-quality, externally facing materials that align with our brand vision.
This is a hybrid role, so individuals must be able to commute to the London office at least 3 days a week.
What will I be doing day-to-day?
Brand governance:
- Evolve and maintain YouGov’s visual identity, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints
- Act as a brand champion, providing guidance and oversight to teams across the business
- Own and manage brand guidelines, ensuring they are accessible, up to date, and adhered to globally
Design execution & team leadership:
- Lead and support the Design Services team, ensuring high-quality creative output that aligns a strategic creative approach with business goals
- Establish and refine processes, templates, and workflows to drive efficiency and quality
- Work closely with internal teams to manage and optimise creative automation tools (e.g., Frontify, Foleon)
These are the essentials you need to get an interview:
- 5-10 years of experience working with visual brand and design
- 2 years experience leading or managing a small design team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong track record of delivering high-quality brand assets, templates, and marketing materials
- Experience in brand governance and implementation, ensuring alignment across a global business
- Ability to develop and implement processes to increase efficiencies and maintain high creative standards
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and PowerPoint
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com)
Behavioural competencies:
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to collaborate with teams across an organisation
It would be great if you had experience in the below, but we’ll support you if you don’t:
- Familiarity with creative automation tools (e.g., Frontify, Foleon)
- Experience with data design
- Experience of working in a B2B environment
