About You

As Salesforce Administrator, you will play a vital role at Airship. You will help us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback, helping design scalable best practice solutions, and assisting the product road map. You will enjoy all aspects of user management and user experience including support tickets and training, with user satisfaction as a priority.

 You have a deep comprehension of the Salesforce platform, aptitude to understand both our current legacy setup and our business objectives, to identify areas of improvement. You are comfortable with change management.

 You have experience liaising with stakeholders at all levels, with the aptitude to translate technical information into layman’s terms, clearly explaining design options and their potential impact.


  • Responsible for all aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD and sharing rules
  • Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): workflow, process builder, flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports
  • Understanding of the following is a plus: Triggers; Apex code knowledge; Marketing Automation Tools
  • Support gathering requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience
  • Identify unused or underutilized platform features
  • Assist the platform roadmap and help define priorities
  • Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
  • User support tickets
  • Help monitor and improve user adoption
  • Help with new user and ongoing user training
  • Technical documentation
  • Support of integrated applications including Salesforce CPQ, Gainsight, Docusign, Marketo, LeanData, Calibermind, CaptivateIQ, AppTopia, Ironclad, Linked-in Navigator 

Qualifications and Background


  • Strong Salesforce product knowledge and at least 3+ years of Salesforce Administration hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator preferred
  • Additional Salesforce certifications preferred e.g.:
    • Advanced Administrator
    • Platform App Builder


  • Bachelor’s/Postgraduate degree, or professional qualification

  • Be able to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in change management and governance
  • Training end users and key stakeholders
  • Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes

  • Understanding of Apex code knowledge
  • Demonstrates continued personal/professional development
  • Engaged in the Salesforce community
