What is the point of this role?

We’re looking for a talented and creative PR and social media specialist to join our growing content team - responsible for driving engagement and building brand awareness through strategic social media campaigns and PR initiatives.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about creating engaging content (inc video content), storytelling and looking to build strong relationships with internal teams and our external PR agency to act as an extension of our team.

The ideal candidate is someone who knows their way around cloud computing and tech b2b PR, who can get their head around complex subject matters quickly and get to the heart of a story. Key KPIs for the role are reach and engagement in relevant social media channels and coverage in the relevant media.

What will I be doing?

  • Managing social media accounts and create engaging content for various platforms including but not limited to LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Crafting and execution of social media content plan with a focus on LinkedIn, collaborating with stakeholders to come up with content ideas, draft copy and brief the internal creative team for a long and short form content such as blog posts, social posts, case studies, videos and media pitches.
  • Implementation of social strategies, ensuring frequent and relevant posts tailored to the target persona/audience
  • Analyse and report on social media performance and implement learnings to improve engagement rates
  • Management of PR agency to support wider content strategy and thought leadership for the business driving media presence and share of voice
  • Occasionally pitch to the media or handle media enquiries [the PR agency will do most of this]
  • Come up with ideas for PR initiatives
  • Craft compelling stories and content for press releases, blog posts, social media posts and other marketing materials
  • Interview customers and create case studies with a compelling angle that makes ANS stand out.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams in Marketing and Internal Comms and external agencies
  • Assisting with and developing video content - managing external video freelancers to produce and edit videos for externally facing video content aligned with our ICP activity.

What will I bring to the role?

  • Experience in tech B2b PR and social media
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related fields
  • Experience of managing and working with PR agencies
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to create compelling stories and content
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working with a variety of social media platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Twitter.
  • Understanding of B2B customer needs and ability to translate technical content into compelling content relevant to the target audience
  • Video shooting/editing and working with freelance video teams
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies and customers
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

What is needed to do the role?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related fields
