We are looking for a Solidity Engineer to join our team, where you will be pivotal in designing, developing and deploying of smart contracts and blockchain solutions. Collaborating with a team of passionate developers, your focus will be on crafting high-quality, secure, and efficient smart contracts for NFTs and other blockchain applications. This role requires a profound understanding of blockchain technology, expertise in smart contract development, and a steadfast commitment to ensuring security and scalability in all projects.

Must-have skills and qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with Solidity and the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
  • Strong practical knowledge of smart contract development standards, including ERC20, ERC721/ERC1155, EIP712, and Merkle proofs.
  • Proficiency with blockchain development tools such as Hardhat or Foundry, with a preference for candidates experienced in both.
  • Understanding of gas optimization techniques, storage slots functionality, and how different operations within the smart contract affect the transaction costs.
  • Experience with upgradeable contracts, including knowledge of UUPSProxy, Beacon Proxy, and Transparent Proxy patterns.
  • A proven track record of successful blockchain projects, especially in dApps, DeFi, or NFT platforms.
  • Typescript experience.


Nice to Have

  • Demonstrated ability in Yul (Solidity assembly) is highly regarded, marking exceptional proficiency in smart contract development.
  • Experience with non-EVM blockchain platforms like Solana and Polkadot.
  • Active involvement in open-source blockchain projects.
  • Knowledge of Rust programming language.

 

Salary & benefits:

Salary and benefits will be negotiated separately based on the candidate’s skills and experience. Please note that we hire our international talent residing outside of Finland with contractor status, this means that you'd be invoicing us every month and paying your own social security contributions.

In terms of paid time off we treat all contractors like employees so you would get sick days, paid national holidays of the country of residence and 5 weeks of paid vacation per year (2.0833 accumulated vacation days per month worked).
