Our team is focused on building Evmos, the port-of-entry for launching applications across multiple blockchains.

Evmos is the one of the first Ethereum Virtual Machine-based blockchains in the Cosmos ecosystem and enables developers to launch apps that run smart contracts across any number of EVM and Cosmos-based blockchains. It makes that process as simple and seamless as possible by allowing developers to continue creating apps in programming languages like Solidity or Vyper they’re already accustomed to in the Ethereum ecosystem.

Evmos opens a new frontier for blockchain applications, expanding the functionality of the EVM by enabling cross-chain applications that tap the liquidity and user bases of multiple blockchain ecosystems to provide more unified experiences.

What is Operations at Evmos?

Evmos is a remote-first company that operates globally and has teams working together from offices in Berlin, Miami, and the San Francisco Bay Area, amongst other locations. Operations at Evmos is a cross-functional role that reaches across multiple teams including Finance, Accounting, People and Legal. Our North Star of the Operations team is the alignment of our remote team on vision strategic intent and roadmap, and to ensure the efficient execution of daily tasks and activities across all Evmos teams.

 

About the role

We are looking for an Executive Assistant to our CEO to join our Operations Team. The role is based out of the Berlin office or remote within the CET timezone. In this role, you will be a core contributor to the success of our team, supporting our CEO and helping to establish our first Evmos office in Berlin. We are looking for people who will make Evmos better. We believe there are many different ways of developing skills and we love diverse experiences! So even if you don’t “tick all the boxes” but think you’d thrive in this role, we would really like to learn more about you.

 

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting our Executive CEO with diaries, including internal team- and external partner meetings, international conferences, etc.
  • Travel booking and preparation of expense reports
  • Ensuring that day to day schedule and meetings run smoothly
  • Support in Office Management and new employee onboarding in Berlin
  • Participate in special projects for the Executive team

 

What you will learn

  • Help to organise international team building and-/or company events
  • Support in employee visa and sponsorship guidance
  • Presentation-building experience (Google Sheets, Powerpoint)

 

Nice to Have

  • Experience in using Notion, Linear
  • German is a huge plus
  • Experience with Employee Management and Payroll programs (e.g. Greenhouse, DATEV, Personio)
