Role Summary:
The Business Development Associate will play a critical role in driving First Digital’s growth by identifying and cultivating new corporate and institutional relationships, closing high-value deals, and delivering insights to improve our offerings. This role requires a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, strong business acumen, and a passion for the digital asset space.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a client pipeline, focusing on market makers, exchanges, OTC desks, funds, fintechs, and traditional financial institutions in Asia.
- Identify, approach, and convert new leads while maintaining client relationships.
- Collaborate with the tech team on roadmap execution and partnership integration.
- Close deals exceeding $50k, achieve 30%+ year-over-year growth, and meet sales targets.
- Handle inbound inquiries, prepare proposals, negotiate agreements, and deliver client presentations.
- Maintain positive client experiences, representing First Digital’s values and culture.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or 3+ years in business development, sales, or partnerships.
- Proven ability to close significant deals and engage senior decision-makers.
- Strong business acumen, self-motivation, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Interest in the digital asset and blockchain industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using LinkedIn for lead generation.
- Strong industry presence and expertise in digital assets.
- Persistent, results-driven approach with a focus on excellence.
