Gelato consists of three different business units, starting with Optimalprint as our B2C business, offering personalized products to consumers all over the world. Secondly, GelatoCreate caters to creators through our software platform and connects them with a global range of production partners. Lastly, we have our newest business unit, GelatoConnect. With GelatoConnect, we have built the largest ecosystem in the printing industry, which offers cost savings and efficiency for all improvements for all production hubs. 

What you will be doing
As the Social Media Manager in Gelato, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies that align with the brand's goals and campaigns’ objectives. This involves working alongside with the creative team to develop compelling, on-brand content that resonates with the target audience, and collaborating with other stakeholders, such as Influencers Manager, Paid Social Media Manager, CRM Team and PR, to ensure alignment with broader marketing strategies. The role’s purpose is to enhance the brand's visibility, build a loyal online community, and drive organic growth through strategic, engaging, and authentic content and social media initiatives.

Some of your responsibilities will include

  • Developing or overseeing the creation of engaging, on-brand content for multiple channels, including video, static images and copy, as well as representing the brand in social content
  • Planning, writing engaging copy and scheduling social media content maintaining a consistent posting schedule.
  • Adapting the content plan in case of unexpected changes or shifts in the social media landscape.
  • Engaging with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries.
  • Daily curation of customer-tagged stories to evaluate their suitability for reposting and audience engagement.
  • Be at the forefront of the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to drive a social -first culture within the business and maximize the impact of the brand’ social content.
  • Executing social media campaigns in alignment with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Coordinating with the Influencer Manager for user-generated content or partnerships.
  • Managing and optimizing paid advertising campaigns to increase reach and engagement.
  • Reviewing and analyzing performance metrics on Hootsuite, in-app insights and Google Analytics to track the success of social media efforts and identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitoring competitors' activities and strategies in the digital space.
  • Participating in team meetings, strategy sessions, and discussions to ensure effective communication and collaboration with other departments and stakeholders.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • 3-5 years experience in social media content strategy and execution.
  • Background from brand/marketing department of a global company, an advertising agency, media house or an internal in-house agency/marketing department, or equivalent.
  • Superb planning and project management skills
  • A creative thinker with hands-on experience creating content for brands with minimum basic video editing skills. 
  • Experience with social media management tools and analytics (Hootsuite, Monday.com, Google Suite, Google Analytics, Looker, Canva, CapCut)
  • A wealth of expertise in social platforms, video content, viral campaigns, emerging trends, brands, and social insights.
  • Practice with social storytelling and development of social-first content (still and video) for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc.
  • Demonstrates an analytical mindset and the capability to develop a profound understanding of the channel’s data and insights.
  • Possesses outstanding written, visual, and verbal communication skills while effectively managing complex and competing priorities.

A self-motivated and determined individual committed to execution and delivery, capable of swift adaptation to market trends and shifting business priorities.
