With GelatoConnect, we have built the largest ecosystem in the printing industry, which offers cost savings and efficiency for all improvements for all production hubs. 

What you will be doing
As the Head of Social Media in Optimalprint, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies that align with the brand's goals and campaigns’ objectives. This involves working alongside with the creative team to develop compelling, on-brand content that resonates with the target audience, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with broader marketing strategies. By implementing innovative approaches and partnering with other brands and influencers, you'll boost our online presence that resonates with our audience. Your goal? Spark creativity and enthusiasm for personalized and design products to drive profitable revenue growth.

Some of your responsibilities will include 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Optimalprint’s goals and objectives.
  • Advocate for social media's equitable allocation of budget resources by implementing a data-driven strategy to demonstrate return on investment.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media, including metrics such as engagement rate, follower growth, conversion rate, and traffic generation.
  • Manage and oversee all social media platforms, with a focus on optimizing existing channels - Facebook and Instagram and launching and building new ones, ie. TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit.
  • Identify and engage potential influencers and brand ambassadors to increase brand awareness, reach and engagement.
  • Select and implement a best in class social media techstack and process to ensure quantitative and qualitative results.
  • Monitor and analyze social media trends, audience behavior, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and optimize social media campaigns.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external agencies to create engaging and shareable content for organic and paid social media.
  • Monitor user feedback and comments on social media channels, promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure social media activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and industry guidelines.

  • Passionate and innovative creative strategist with a strong bias for action and executional excellence.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a social media manager or in a similar role, with a track record of successful social media campaigns and initiatives. Having successful or extensive experience in TikTok is highly advantageous.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices for content creation, engagement, and audience growth.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, metrics, and insights to inform decision-making and optimize social media strategies.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas to differentiate the brand and engage audiences.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools, analytics platforms, and social listening tools.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of legal and ethical considerations related to social media marketing, including privacy, copyright, and advertising standards.
  • Having experience with the Shopify platform and app ecosystem is advantageous.
