About your key responsibilities and impact:

  • Managing diverse projects and releases (timelines, scope changes, risks, dependencies) with a high degree of uncertainity;
  • Organizing and leading cross-functional teams, composed of new and unfamiliar members from different departments;
  • Working closely with Engineering Leads, Engineering Managers and System Architects to define project requirements, deliverables, and identify stakeholders;
  • Developing and maintaining scalable delivery processes along with team members and PMO;
  • Proactively solving day-to-day challenges and making sound judgments;
  • Effectively communicating relevant project information to stakeholders and the team;
  • Providing people management, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing. 

Essential professional experience:

  • Minimum of 4+ years in IT project management, specifically managing projects and cross-functional teams;
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects with high levels of ambiguity and forming requirements from scratch;
  • Experience in using project support and monitoring tools such as JIRA and Confluence;
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies;
  • Solid technical or analytical background, with proficiency in relevant tools or technologies;
  • Proficiency in Ukrainian and English at an upper-intermediate level or above.

Desirable skills:

  • Comfortable leading projects with a high level of abstraction, such as architectural projects, policy development, and implementing new practices;
  • Ability to operate autonomously without expecting micromanagement from leadership;
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and motivate team members;
  • Proven track record in identifying performance gaps within teams or processes, implementing targeted strategies to address them, and measuring the effectiveness of performance improvement initiatives;
  • Experience in mentoring and developing junior project managers;
  • Ability to influence and drive strategic direction in alignment with organizational goals.
