Your mission
Your job will include assembling both the engines and the complete rocket. This includes the following fields of activity, among others:
- High-precision assembly of the space components
- Testing or measuring electrical and mechanical internals
- Testing of individual components and complete assemblies
- Working under high cleanliness requirements
- Documentation and forwarding of deviations
- Ensuring compliance with standards, regulations and quality guidelines
- Assistance in continuous process improvement
- Support with test setups
Who you are and what you have
- Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, specializing in production engineering, maintenance engineering or comparable training in accordance with the requirements
- Several years of professional experience in the field of aviation and/or aerospace
- Knowledge of gas/fluid bolting techniques
- Good drawing skills, spatial awareness and a good technical understanding
- Willingness for occasional assembly work at different locations
- High quality awareness
- Ability to work under pressure, flexibility and in a team
- High motivation to take on complex challenges
- Fluent in English, knowledge of German would be an advantage
