The Role

As a BI Data Analyst at Avea, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data to drive business decisions and enhance operational efficiency. You will be responsible for maintaining and creating ETL processes, utilizing SQL and Python for data extraction and transformation, and developing compelling data visualizations to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Maintain and create new ETL processes in Airflow or similar tools to ensure efficient and accurate data flow.
Utilize SQL and Python to extract, transform, and analyze business, marketing, and industry data from various software products.
Compose reports summarizing business and marketing results based on data analysis.
Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual dashboards using Tableau, MetaBase, Power BI, Excel, and other visualization tools.
Collaborate with end-users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management, accuracy, and delivery.
Streamline processes related to data flow and data quality to enhance overall efficiency.

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering).
Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role with expertise in ETL processes and database management.
Proficient in SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau.
Critical thinker with strong analytic modeling and technical skills, capable of analyzing complex datasets and translating findings into actionable insights.
Attention to detail and a commitment to follow-through on tasks.
