The Role

As our Acquisitions Manager you will take the lead in sourcing, appraising and acquiring assets across Europe inline with our expansion plan.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Identify, negotiate and acquire freehold and leasehold deals to secure new locations inline with our expansion plan
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with agents, landlords, investors, local authorities and developers
  • Undertake market analyses, site inspections, development appraisals, legal, technical and planning due diligence 
  • Draft bids, acquisition memos and board packs for approval
  • Appoint and manage external consultants, agents, and legal teams 
  • Lead and manage all stakeholders through the transaction process
  • Support the Development Director in planning applications through to consent and discharge of conditions
  • Lead all expansion, and renovation projects to the existing portfolio of assets
  • Manage an ever-changing variety of internal initiatives and projects
  • Communicate expectations, requirements and status of deals to key business partners – both internal and external
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve success

What you bring

  • 5+ years experience in Real Estate acquisitions / land buying 
  • A self-starting drive to succeed, a get up and go attitude
  • A well networked individual with refined negotiating skills
  • Sound commercial property and legal acumen
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A highly analytical mind
  • Strong development appraisal skills
  • Understanding of financial analysis techniques including discounted cash flow and capital budgeting
  • The ability to multi-task and handle conflicting deadlines
  • Strong work ethic and a bias for action
  • A passion for hospitality, design, and longevity
  • The ideal candidate speaks fluent English. Other European languages are a strong advantage
