About the Role

As our Senior Public Relations Manager, you will be responsible for growing our global brand awareness and reputation, as both a leading spend management solution and an employer.

Responsibilities 

  • Developing a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics
  • Developing a media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media. Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media.
  • Author company announcements and create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations
  • Coordinate all public relations activities including media inquiries and interview requests
  • Manage, train and brief company spokespeople
  • Managing a network of global PR agencies to amplify reach across all of our sales regions
  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them
  • Evaluate and manage new opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and influencers
  • Working with our regional marketing teams to support local media strategies

Requirements

  • Work from our Sofia office
  • Fluent in Bulgarian and English.
  • 5+ years of Communications / Public Relations experience ideally covering a global audience as well as Bulgaria.
  • Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level
  • Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets
  • Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Excellent communication skills and well practised at working with senior executives for media purposes.
  • Solid experience with social media including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
  • Event planning experience
  • BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline
