Purpose of the Role 

Based out of our Manchester Clubhouse, you'll work closely with the sales & marketing teams to identify and develop opportunities for the sales team. 

You will research prospective companies before engaging with them via phone, email and social channels. Your goal is to set up introductory calls with target influencers and decision makers and to make sure a majority of these calls become qualified opportunities for your sales team.

This role is one of the first touch points for prospects and has the opportunity to set the tone for the sales cycle following.

 

The Role

We’re looking for a high energy and dynamic SDR with experience in a similar sales capacity. You will be able to identify business challenges and articulate Peak’s proposition. You will also need the confidence and intellect to hold a conversation with C-Level and VP level executives at FTSE listed companies.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Kick-start the sales process by prospecting potential Peak customers 
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to develop and define strategic target lists.
  • Develop creative tactics, campaigns, and strategies to reach target prospects and generate qualified meetings for Sales Executives.
  • Undertake comprehensive needs analysis to qualify and validate opportunities, prior to handing off to the Sales Executive team
  • Building relationships with wider Sales and GTM teams
  • Driving prospects to internal webinars, events and sending industry specific white papers to spark conversation with high level personas
  • Attending and creating conversations at industry specific events
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing management to refine the sales development process. 
  • Keep panel KPI reports/dashboards up to date and maintained

Required Experience

Previous experience in a sales related role such as outbound marketing, sales pitches, prospect research, general business development is required, experience in selling enterprise software would be an advantage but not essential.

  • Ability to build rapport with C-suite personas 
  • Ability to work closely and collaboratively with various teams and build key relationships with internal stakeholders and teammates
  • A natural self starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment, with a can do and positive approach.
  • Open and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
