About the role
Are you a wordsmith with years of experience in web marketing copy that drives growth? Do you want to use your skills and passion for a mission-driven company that’s truly user-centric? Do you have experience in both B2C and B2B content marketing? This might be the role for you.
As the Marketing Copywriter in our Content team, you will work closely with our Growth Studio on marketing campaigns and write web copy, such as landing pages, to improve our user journey and help drive conversion.
You understand the power of persuasive copywriting, are detail-oriented, organized, and can manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. You’re able to grasp difficult technical topics and turn abstract ideas into persuasive and actionable copy. Together with other Proton teams, you will identify opportunities and deliver quality copy on tight deadlines. Working at Proton requires a strong understanding of what makes our user community tick. You will be an important voice in transitioning to a more private internet.
What you will do
As part of the Content team, you will work with different marketing teams that require compelling copy designed to reach the target audience for the respective goals. Your role will be to write clear and effective copy for our website, landing pages, ads, emails, and other marketing materials to help drive business. Day-to-day you’ll be:
- Writing clear and error-free marketing copy in Proton’s voice
- Working closely with our Product Marketing teams to understand our audiences and business objectives, so that you can create relevant and engaging copy that converts
- Collaborating closely with our Growth Studio team on creative campaign concepts to drive awareness and help reach targets
- Using SEO techniques when crafting your copy to improve search engine rankings, when required
- Interpreting creative direction and technical information, and turning them into easy-to-digest and persuasive copy
- Measuring the effectiveness of your copy and making adjustments as needed
- Staying up-to-date on customer behavior, industry trends best practices, and competitor activity
We need you to have:
- 3 + years of hands on experience in copywriting, content marketing,SEO,CRO,CRM and or a related field
- Track record of creating highly effective marketing copy for a large company, or within an agency, including product launches, content marketing, email marketing campaigns, advertisements etc
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Native and flawless written and spoken English
- SEO copywriting experience
- A strong understanding of Brand, particularly community
- The ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and be proactive
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- An analytical mind and an interest in using data to optimize marketing strategies and tactics
- A passion for the world of security, tech, or privacy, and an ability to inspire others.
