Your role
We're seeking Solution Architects for our Core Infrastructure team. As a Solution Architect, you will be instrumental in designing and overseeing the implementation of technology solutions that cater to our financial service needs and objectives.
Drawing on your software development and leadership expertise, your role will involve creating, designing, and implementing complex software solutions that align with the company's goals and technology infrastructure. You will ensure these solutions are scalable, efficient, and seamlessly integrated with the existing ecosystem, all while contributing to Tamara's reputation for delivering unique and unparalleled financial service experiences.
With a proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems, you bring demonstrated expertise in cloud-based architectures, scalability, and system integration. Your experience should include managing high-volume transactions and ensuring robust, secure, and efficient operational performance, ultimately playing a key role in revolutionizing how millions of users interact with shopping, payment, and banking platforms.

Your Responsibilities:
- Ecosystem Architecture Design: Develop and oversee the comprehensive architecture of the fintech ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration of various components such as BNPL solutions, payment gateways, banking services, and shopping platforms.
- Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with product management and engineering teams to provide expert advice on the appropriate technological solutions and innovations. This collaboration is crucial for aligning the product roadmap with the overall architectural vision.
- Solution Implementation and Optimization: Guide the implementation of services, ensuring they align with the ecosystem's architecture. This involves a deep understanding of accounting systems, financing processes, and transaction management.
- Technical Expertise and Leadership: Bring strong technical expertise in fintech solutions, with an emphasis on emerging technologies and industry best practices. Leadership skills are essential to drive the architectural vision and mentor team members.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate with stakeholders to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms and align their needs with the technological strategy.
- Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure that all solutions adhere to regulatory requirements and industry standards, managing risks associated with the deployment of new technologies.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry trends to continually enhance the ecosystem's architecture.
Your Expertise:
- Deep technical expertise: At least 7 years in backend software or infrastructure, with proficiency in Java, PHP, Golang, and Terraform.
- Cloud platform experience: Hands-on experience with major cloud environments like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Experience in finance or banking: Previously engaged in developing solutions for the finance or banking sector.
- Strong communication skills: Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and simply.
- Customer-focused approach: Proven skill in understanding customer needs and developing appropriate solutions.
- Interpersonal skills: Effective collaboration with engineering teams at all levels, from junior to principal.
- Critical thinking under pressure: Demonstrated ability to solve problems effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Teaching and mentoring: Passion for teaching technical skills and fostering a learning environment.
- Project management: Experience in leading and managing technical projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Security and compliance knowledge: Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements in Fintech.
- Innovation and continuous learning: A commitment to staying updated with the latest technologies and industry trends, fostering innovation in solutions.
