Your role
You role will require exceptional illustration skills across various artistic directions and styles. Experience in animation is a valuable asset, as it will enhance the visual storytelling capabilities of our projects at Tamara. You will work as part of a cross-functional design team that will intersect between design elements on the product and branding side of Tamara.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality illustrations that align with the brand requirements and artistic direction. Work on a variety of projects including Tamara products, digital marketing materials, print media, and interactive content.
- Ability to work on the intersection of brand and product experience is a must
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop and refine artistic directions for illustrations. Adapt styles to suit different campaign needs and target audiences.
- Participate in animation projects, applying illustration skills to create engaging and dynamic animated sequences. (Note: Animation skills are a plus, not a requirement.)
- Work closely with other creative team members, including designers, art directors, and project managers, to ensure a cohesive visual style across all touchpoints..
- Ensure all illustrations meet high standards of clarity, engagement, and relevance.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in illustration and animation, incorporating cutting-edge techniques and styles into your work to keep the brand at the forefront of the industry.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years in illustration, with a proven track record of working across various illustration styles.
- Expertise in using illustration tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and animation software like After Effects or similar.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of illustration styles and projects. Applications submitted without a portfolio will not be considered.
- Excellent communication abilities to articulate creative concepts and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- High level of creativity with the ability to solve challenging design problems and propose unique solutions for illustration projects.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to work in Dubai or relocate.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
