About the Role:

Are you passionate about teaching, nurturing talent, and empowering beauty professionals to deliver exceptional service? We have an exciting opportunity for an Academy Trainer (Front of House Trainer) to join our Talent Development team at Townhouse. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for training salon employees to deliver Townhouse services to the highest standard while ensuring they master customer service, product knowledge, and safety procedures. Your work will help create highly motivated and skilled individuals, setting them up for long-term success within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tailored Training: Identify individual learning styles and provide customised training and feedback to help team members develop their skills.
• Classroom Management: Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment, promoting collaboration and respect. Address and resolve any challenges that arise.
• Customer Service Excellence: Train team members to deliver outstanding customer service, emphasising the importance of building strong client relationships. Ensure team members perform appropriate service checks to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Hands-on Learning: Guide trainees through practical exercises such as manicures and pedicures, providing real-time feedback. Teach proper tool, product, and equipment usage while reinforcing high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Ongoing Assessment: Conduct regular evaluations to ensure trainees meet the required proficiency in Townhouse techniques. Keep detailed records of progress and maintain high pass rates from the Academy to the salon.

About You:

We’re looking for proactive and passionate individuals dedicated to helping others succeed. You should have strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to work with diverse groups of students. Experience in a training or Learning & Development role is essential, while previous experience in the beauty or nail care industry is a plus.

• A passion for teaching and developing others
• Strong organisational skills for curriculum planning and administration
• Experience in the beauty and nail care sector (preferred)

Location:

This role is based at our Academy, with occasional field visits. Flexibility to work across all seven days of the week as required is essential.
