The Chief Marketing Officer will lead the strategic development and execution of Virtex's B2B2C go-to-market. Your goal is to position Virtex as a leading technology provider for live immersive entertainment in our key industries, esports and sports. Furthermore, you will lead the development and implementation of strategies to reach and attract end users to our immersive experiences, often with partners and clients.

Responsibilities: 

  • Setting strategic vision, company goals and execution plans as part of company leadership.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to help position Virtex with target B2B partners and clients in our key industries. 
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for our applications and experiences targeting (clients') existing audiences and help growing new audiences. 
  • Build, lead and mentor the marketing team for high performance, fostering innovation and collaboration.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, refine positioning, and analyse competition.
  • Manage brand consistency and resonance across all channels and interactions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to effectively execute marketing and launch strategies.
  • Identify Marketing’s data needs and develop data acquisition strategies.

Ideal Experience: 

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing (B2B2C, B2C, B2B), with a proven track record in building and growing brands, preferably in the gaming, sports or entertainment industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the gaming industry, specifically live esports/ live gaming and market trends. 
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and executing successful go-to-market / B2B2C (including growing user bases)strategies and experience with marketing analytics tools. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business, or a related field. An MBA or another relevant post-graduate qualification is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

It would be extra awesome if you have (pluses/ bonus skills)

  • Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, brand, product and service management.
