Reporting to the Marketing Director, the role leads the Comms & Influencer team and oversees the planning, development and implementation of Comms & Influencer marketing programmes. We are seeking a positive, fun-loving, and organized PR & Marketing Manager to cover maternity leave and drive our brand presence and engagement across the UK. In this role, you will be responsible for driving demand generation initiatives by executing innovative marketing campaigns, building strong relationships with media outlets and influencers, coordinating exciting events to promote our products and brand values and driving our influencer programme across paid partners and expanding our skinfluencer programme. As a key member of our team, you'll collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure our messaging aligns with our mission and resonates with our target audience.

 

The responsibilities of the Comms & Influencer Manager…. Could this be you?

  • Develop, implement and measure strategic PR & comms and marketing plans alongside our PR Agency to enhance brand awareness and drive sales in the UK market.
  • Drive demand generation to a new customer base as well as reengaging existing customers to rediscover the brand and iconic products.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists and influencers to secure media coverage and endorsements.
  • Manage & evaluate our paid influencer partnerships working closely with our e-commerce team and wider channels to maximise success and utilise user generated content to bolster our brand.
  • Create engaging content for press releases and marketing materials that showcases our products and brand values.
  • Organise and coordinate events, including internal team events, product launches, store openings, and promotional activities to connect with customers and generate excitement around both Dermalogica and Clear Start.
  • Manage and develop a high performing team of two by coaching and showcasing exemplary leadership.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation within the UK market.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, retail and education, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding.
  • Track and analyse the effectiveness of PR and marketing initiatives using metrics and analytics tools and make data-driven recommendations for optimisation.
  • Manage invoices / PO’s and the PR & Marketing budget.

Do you have the below skills?

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in PR, marketing, or a similar role, preferably within the beauty or skincare industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a creative flair for storytelling.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A positive attitude, enthusiasm for teamwork, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms as well as Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc
  • Strong commercial mindset with KPI focused thinking
  • Confident personality, with the ability to present and influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Creative and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task and prioritise in a fast-paced environment to meet strict deadlines.
  • Self-motivated personality.
