About the role
Disguise is seeking an Administrative Assistant to act as a bridge between the Japan office, the APAC region, and the London HQ, ensuring smooth operations and supporting the company's continued growth. This role involves collaboration with multiple departments, including operations, sales, marketing, and finance, with a primary focus on the Japanese market.
A successful candidate will have excellent communication and team-building skills, and will be able to contribute to the further growth of the Japanese market.
What you will do
- Manage Japan's bank records and handle invoice and tax payments.
- Communicate with customers regarding logistics, finance, and operational matters.
- Provide support for in-house training sessions and events.
- Assist the operations team in preparing shipments and related documentation.
- Support the marketing team with Japan-specific activities (e.g., email communication, budget management).
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding procedures for the Japan team.
- Manage office inventory and coordinate with relevant departments (e.g., demo servers, marketing materials, sales stock).
- Provide translation support for both written documents and verbal communication.
Experience we are looking for
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or relevant software
- Managing multiple tasks, on time, and to a high quality in detail
- Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English
- Experience collaborating with multiple teams or departments
- Experience in the B2B industry
- Experience in logistics, administration, and accounting is preferred
