How you drive the energy transition forward
We are looking for a dedicated ESG Officer (m/f/d) to join our team to further develop our ESG strategies and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Compliance.
Your tasks:
- Development and implementation of ESG strategies: You will develop and implement comprehensive ESG strategies that support our business objectives and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring ESG reporting: You will be responsible for the preparation and monitoring of our ESG reports, including compliance with reporting standards and communication with relevant stakeholders.
- Conducting ESG risk analyses: you will identify and assess ESG risks and opportunities, particularly in relation to our supply chain, and develop risk mitigation measures
- Training and sensitization of employees: You will develop and deliver training to raise awareness of ESG issues within the company and ensure that all employees understand and implement ESG policies.
- Monitoring and reporting: You will monitor compliance with ESG requirements and policies, document deviations and work to develop measures for improvement and compliance.
- Coordination with external partners: You will work closely with external consultants, auditors and other relevant partners to ensure that our ESG strategies and reporting are in line with industry best practices.
- Market and trend analysis: You will monitor and analyze current developments and trends in ESG to ensure that our company stays up to date and proactively adapts to new challenges.
What you already bring with you
- Completed studies in the field of environmental sciences, sustainability management, business administration or a comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience, including several years of professional experience in the field of ESG, ideally in a comparable position
- In-depth knowledge of the relevant ESG regulations, standards and reporting requirements
- Experience in the development and implementation of ESG strategies and programs
- Strong analytical skills and experience in conducting risk analysis
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- High sense of responsibility and assertiveness
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
