We’re seeking a skilled IT Specialist to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our internal systems and infrastructure. If you are passionate about technology, problem-solving, and enhancing organizational efficiency through IT solutions, we’d love to hear from you!

Roles and Responsibilities:

Provisioning:

Manage the timely provisioning, onboarding, and offboarding of staff, consultants, and contractors in compliance with internal policies.
Provision, repurpose, and manage a fleet of laptops (Mac and Windows) to end users, ensuring compliance with IT Security Policy.
Create, manage, and deactivate SSO and SaaS accounts to control access rights and privileges.
Maintain an up-to-date inventory of hardware assets and SaaS/software licenses, optimizing to fit within budget constraints.

System Maintenance & Support:

Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and networks to ensure seamless operation across the organization.
Provide technical support and resolve helpdesk queries efficiently to minimize downtime.
Regularly assess, upgrade, and update IT systems for improved performance and security.
Develop and maintain documentation related to IT systems and processes.

Cybersecurity & Compliance:

Implement and monitor security measures to protect company systems and sensitive data.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and adopt best practices to mitigate risks.
Ensure compliance with IT Security Policies, regulations, and industry standards.

Innovation & Collaboration:

Evaluate emerging technologies and integrate solutions to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
Partner with other departments to align IT initiatives with business objectives and streamline workflows.

Infrastructure Management:

Perform installation, maintenance, and upgrading of hardware and software systems.
Manage network and firewall configurations to ensure robust connectivity and security.
Oversee hybrid cloud infrastructure and AWS ecosystem, ensuring performance and reliability.

Qualifications and Skills:

Essential Skills:

5+ years of experience in IT operations or a similar role within a technology or cybersecurity environment.
Proven experience in IT administration, fleet management, and day-to-day operations, ideally in a mid-stage startup.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Proficiency in managing networks, systems, and databases.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving IT challenges.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration across diverse teams.
Experience with SaaS management and system integrations.

Nice to Have:

Familiarity with Web3 technologies, smart contracts, or blockchain infrastructure.
Knowledge of tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar cloud platforms.
Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or JavaScript).
Advanced certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CISSP, or CEH.
Experience supporting globally distributed teams and remote setups.
