About your Role
As a Process Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining, implementing, and continuously improving processes across our product development lifecycle. Working alongside cross-functional teams and engineering leaders, you’ll create a supportive environment where our agile practices can thrive. This role focuses on integrating processes in line with ISO 9001, ensuring compliance while supporting teams to remain adaptive and efficient. By fostering a culture of continuous improvement, you will help deliver valuable software to our customers seamlessly and sustainably.
What you will do
Process Identification and Documentation
- Identify and define key processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams and Directors of Engineering.
- Ensure documentation is lean and agile, providing just enough structure to guide teams without adding unnecessary overhead.
- Create and maintain process documentation that aligns with ISO 9001 standards, utilizing tools like Signavio and Confluence.
Process Implementation
- Roll out defined processes across product development teams, ensuring alignment with daily workflows.
- Empower teams to take ownership of their processes, integrating them with continuous delivery and agile principles.
Process Monitoring and Measurement
- Utilize dashboards and agile tools for transparent, real-time visibility into team progress and process effectiveness.
- Facilitate iterative management reviews, focusing on data-driven insights inform continuous improvement efforts.
- Conduct lightweight, agile-friendly audits of processes to ensure alignment with quality objectives.
Process Improvement
- Implement feedback loops to enable teams to adapt processes based on data, customer feedback, and audit results.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Apply lean risk management principles to identify and mitigate risks early in the development cycle.
- Ensure processes comply with ISO 9001 and relevant regulatory requirements while supporting agile practices.
- Manage process-related risks, including implementing risk mitigation strategies.
Resource Management
- Create a supportive environment, ensuring teams have the tools, resources, and training needed to execute agile and lean processes effectively.
- Support ongoing skill development in agile practices and quality management.
Customer Focus
- Enable close collaboration with customers and stakeholders, integrating feedback throughout the development process.
- Ensure that processes facilitate early and continuous delivery of valuable software to customers for rapid feedback.
Integration and Coordination
- Promote cross-functional collaboration and integration of processes across teams, ensuring cohesive and effective workflows.
- Organize synchronization meetings to address dependencies and align on process improvements.
Documentation and Records Control
- Maintain agile-friendly documentation practices, ensuring essential documents are up-to-date and aligned with lean principles.
- Use version control systems (git) to manage process-related documents, ensuring traceability and easy access.
What will help you to fulfill your role
- Experience in process management within agile and lean digital product development environments. Experience in process modelling methodology and practice in BPMN modeling.
- Practical experience working in an ISO 9001-compliant environment, including designing and optimizing processes.
- Understanding of (scaled) agile software product development and experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Commitment to continuous improvement with a proven track record of implementing agile-friendly, lightweight processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional and customer-focused settings.
- Ability to facilitate change in an inclusive, customer-focused, and iterative environment.
- While the company language is English, German skills are a plus
