Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to build and enhance software solutions.
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, integrate with third-party services, and optimise database performance.
  • Test, refine, and document software to ensure it meets the highest standards of performance and quality.
  • Research, design, and implement innovative solutions to meet client and product needs.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in software engineering and technology to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Provide support in the onboarding and implementation of new clients.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Programming Experience: Proficiency in at least one major programming language such as Python, JavaScript, or Go, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Fundamentals: Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, networking, and software design patterns.
  • Database Knowledge: Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
  • Front-end Development: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end development frameworks like ReactJs.
  • API and Web Development: Familiarity with RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work effectively in team settings and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Good to Have Skills

  • Hands-on experience with frameworks like ReactJS, Node.js, or relevant frameworks.
  • Exposure to cloud technologies, particularly AWS, Azure, or other platforms.
  • Interest in DevOps tools and practices (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
  • Understanding of data integration systems or ETL tools.
  • Prior internship experience or coding projects (e.g., GitHub portfolio).

Additional Information:

  • Mandatory 7 months internship with Peak, starting from January 2025 with a PPO.
  • Working model: During the internship, 4 days a week will be office-based. After the internship, it will transition to 3 days a week from the office.
