Your role:

We are seeking an ambitious and data-driven Growth Associate to join our team. This role will be critical in growing and engaging our customer base within the "Buy Now, Pay Later" (BNPL) sector. As a Growth Associate, you will own the entire customer journey—from acquisition to retention and reactivation—ensuring a seamless experience that drives transaction frequency and builds customer loyalty.

Your responsibilities:

Customer Acquisition

  • Design and execute multi-channel acquisition campaigns (digital, social media, email, partnerships) aimed at attracting new users to our BNPL platform.
  • Optimize and experiment with paid and organic marketing strategies, utilizing A/B testing and customer segmentation to improve conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product, design, and analytics, to create compelling landing pages, content, and onboarding experiences that drive sign-ups.

Customer Engagement

  • Develop engagement strategies to activate and nurture new customers, encouraging repeat transactions and maximizing lifetime value.
  • Craft tailored in-app messaging, email campaigns, and other targeted communications to drive continued platform use.
  • Collaborate with product and tech teams to enhance the user journey and streamline key engagement points across the platform.

Retention & Reactivation

  • Build customer retention programs, loyalty incentives, and personalized campaigns that foster long-term relationships and encourage ongoing use of BNPL services.
  • Identify churn risks and create re-engagement tactics, such as personalized offers, reminders, or relevant incentives, to reactivate dormant users.
  • Analyze patterns in user drop-off points, reasons for inactivity, and feedback to develop actionable insights and intervention strategies.

Data Analysis & Optimization

  • Continuously track and analyze key metrics across the funnel, including acquisition costs, engagement rates, retention, and transaction frequency.
  • Use data insights to run experiments that increase the effectiveness of the growth funnel, optimize marketing spend, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Regularly present findings, successes, and learnings to the team, contributing to strategic decisions on customer growth and lifecycle management.

Your expertise:

Experience

  • At a minimum, internship and co-op training experience in growth marketing, lifecycle marketing, or customer engagement roles, ideally within fintech, e-commerce, or digital platforms, with a maximum of 2 years of experience.
  • Proven experience with customer acquisition, engagement, and retention tactics; experience with BNPL or similar payment platforms is a plus.
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Excel).
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Braze, Iterable) to create and manage customer campaigns.
  • Ability to develop and execute experiments, measure outcomes, and iterate based on data-driven insights.

Attributes

  • Customer-focused and innovative, with a passion for creating exceptional customer experiences.
  • Results-oriented and adaptable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and tackling complex growth challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
