General Description:
- This position is on-site in our Monrovia (California) office
- The IT Associate is responsible for providing support to users experiencing problems with their computers or software, and the technical department with IT procedures and processes
Required Background:
- Must have knowledge of networking, Active Directory, Windows Server, Windows 10
- 1-2 years of experience in a Windows environment
- Experience with Linux
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience or training in a related field
- IT field certifications are preferred
General Responsibilities:
- Responding to queries via chat, email, or phone
- Training other staff members on troubleshooting and diagnosing problems
- Providing technical assistance for questions and problems
- Resolving problems with networks and computer systems, diagnosing system errors and other issues
- Following up with employees to ensure full resolution of issues
- Requesting feedback and/or monitoring calls and other methods of correspondence to improve training methods
- Writing, editing, and revising training manuals for new and updated software and hardware
- Installing or changing software to fix issues
- Remotely accessing hardware or software for clients to make changes and fix problems
- Inventorying IT assets
- Perform other duties as assigned
