General Description:

  • This position is on-site in our Monrovia (California) office
  • The IT Associate is responsible for providing support to users experiencing problems with their computers or software, and the technical department with IT procedures and processes

Required Background:

  • Must have knowledge of networking, Active Directory, Windows Server, Windows 10
  • 1-2 years of experience in a Windows environment
  • Experience with Linux
  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience or training in a related field
  • IT field certifications are preferred

General Responsibilities: 

  • Responding to queries via chat, email, or phone
  • Training other staff members on troubleshooting and diagnosing problems
  • Providing technical assistance for questions and problems
  • Resolving problems with networks and computer systems, diagnosing system errors and other issues
  • Following up with employees to ensure full resolution of issues
  • Requesting feedback and/or monitoring calls and other methods of correspondence to improve training methods
  • Writing, editing, and revising training manuals for new and updated software and hardware
  • Installing or changing software to fix issues
  • Remotely accessing hardware or software for clients to make changes and fix problems
  • Inventorying IT assets
  • Perform other duties as assigned
