Who we are

We are on a mission to make mental health accessible to everyone. At OpenUp, we support companies, their employees and the families of employees with mental health. We make this happen via our OpenUp platform and at our locations for in-depth treatment in the Netherlands. Via our platform employees and their families receive direct access to health checks, self-help programs, group sessions and webinars, mindfulness training and a large team of recognized psychologists. One-on-one help is provided through one of our portfolio companies ‘iPractice’ at 8 different locations in the Netherlands, spread over the country.  In our company we build high performance teams in which people develop themselves to their fullest potential. We enjoy raising the bar and making it to the next level.

Open Up is part of the LinkedIn Top Startups 2022 and is rapidly growing. We are expanding our international teams and we search for like-minded talent. We are already helping over 650+ (international) companies and their employees, e.g. Rituals, Deloitte, Decathlon, Miele, KPMG, Adyen and McDonalds. We are the Dutch market leader. But that’s not enough to achieve our mission: We aim to become the number one mental health partner in the whole of Europe.

What will you do?

We practice what we preach and thus a pleasant environment to work in is essential. We call this a healing environment, necessary for us all to deliver top notch services to our clients. As Facility Manager you are responsible for managing the facility operations of our growing number of office locations in the Netherlands (currently 10). You manage relevant suppliers from A to Z: from exploring, selection, contract negotiations and evaluation. You create a location strategy that anticipates future growth. e.g. in expanding current or finding new (international) offices. You work closely together with colleagues from Tech, support and the People team.

Next to that:

  • You are constantly improving our hospitality and the healing environment we all want to work in
  • You create and work from a playbook for managing the locations
  • You work with a team of colleagues that operate as liaisons to the teams at all locations
  • You are the first point of contact for issues at the various locations

OpenUp loves people. We hope you do too. Engaging with people around you from all walks of life is something you like to do. Hospitality is your second nature and you can handle stress with a smile. You are enthusiastic about mental health, which is a topic as normal as going to the gym, and you would love to connect to this higher purpose.

You are a self-starter and always looking for ways to improve, grow and develop yourself. You enjoy working in an inclusive environment where everyone can feel a sense of belonging and create impactful ideas together. Your motto is: you can learn from setbacks and get back up, and you celebrate success! A courageous mission needs great people. Ready to join us? In addition:

  • You manage suppliers and can intervene when service is not according to our standards.
  • You are solution focused and action-oriented.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have great team player skills.
  • You have a bachelor or master degree in hospitality, facility management or like minded educational background.
  • You have at least 3 years of working experience in facility management
  • At ease in an international environment: you speak great English. Speaking Dutch helps.
