About the Role

The Monitoring and Chargebacks Analyst will be working closely with the

The Transactions Monitoring Analyst will be working closely with the Compliance organisation, partnering banks and all stakeholders. It is required to execute the firm’s strategy in accordance with regulatory expectations and industry best practices. The focus is to conduct ongoing customers due diligence, handling partner inquiries, as well as identifying fraudulent behaviour by screening and monitoring clients and any other requests.

Responsibilities

  • Review client card transactions and bank payments, and any suspicious trends that need to be escalated and/or reviewed further.
  • Monitor and evaluate customer verification documents where needed. Support the ongoing due diligence process. Ensure complete and appropriate documentation is maintained. 
  • PEP and Sanctions screening of applicants, companies and their representatives.
  • Report to MLRO any information related to potentially fraudulent activity.
  • Review internal and external fraud alerts and escalations for suspicious or fraudulent activity.
  • Perform data review and analysis, as well as maintenance of all internal procedures and processes automation related to customer due diligence processes.
  • Review and handle all types of transaction monitoring related cases of our clients and in accordance with policies and procedures of regulators, card schemes and those of our service providers and partners.

Requirements 

  • At least 2 years of work experience with Transactions Monitoring and AML operations
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
  • Readiness to monitor bank payments and card transactions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or Finance or any related field
  • Ownership and entrepreneurship, positive attitude, energy, openness to feedback, comfortable with a fast-changing environment
  • A great initiative taker, ability to initiate projects through ideas that have a high business contribution
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
