As disguise experiences rapid growth, it is critical that all of our data is available, accurate, timely and reliable so that it can be used to enable data driven decision making. You will use your expertise to power all the above as part of the BI Team.

 

You will be an enthusiastic team player who thrives in a fast-paced private sector environment. Proactive and driven, you will be expected to work with minimal supervision managing your time effectively to deliver optimal business and technical solutions.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Create data models, database schemas and tables
  • Build, manage and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
  • Analyse and identify inefficiencies in the existing processes & rebuild legacy processes in Python
  • Troubleshoot data recording and reporting issues and find solutions for existing processes and data to meet changing user requirements
  • Identify areas where data quality can be improved and work to carry out data cleanliness improvements
  • Participate and contribute to new project planning and scoping
  • To work with business stakeholders to improve the quality and reliability of data/information stored in central DB systems; a key resource in the management and decision making of the company as a whole

 

 

 WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • Fundamental SQL, Python and GIT knowledge
  • Interest in learning Integration and ETL tools and processes
  • Knowledge of data types
  • Source Connector usage
  • Data cleaning methodologies
  • Understanding of process mapping and documentation techniques
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
