Overview:
First Digital (FD) is seeking a proactive and collaborative Marketing Associate to join our growing team in Kuala Lumpur. You will be responsible for online and offline corporate communication efforts, including but not limited to company website content, social media, public relations, press releases, events/trade shows, swag, and more. This role requires strong people skills, stellar project management abilities, an aptitude for online platforms, marketing automation familiarity, an eye for design aesthetics, and hypersensitivity to delivering consistent messaging with the on-brand look and feel.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, plan, develop and implement campaigns that support and drive positive messages, partnerships, product updates, and more.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with and between external service providers (PR firms, copywriters, designers, production companies, event planners, etc.)
- Day-to-day management of social media channels and tracking, measuring and reporting the day to day analytics.
- Plan, proof, and approve engaging content and contextually relevant and on-brand visual materials for the company website; utilizing our content management system to update website content.
- Research competitors and continuously expand knowledge of our current and proposed products and services, as well as the digital assets industry as a whole, to ensure the development of highly effective and competitive communication materials
- Track, measure, and report out relevant OKR to driving user engagement and qualified leads
- Draft and distribute internal and external email newsletters
- Assist in the strategic planning and execution of participation in industry conferences and trade shows
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar field of study
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a marketing or communications role, preferably in financial services, blockchain or technology-related businesses
- Strong network within the Crypto & Blockchain space is a plus
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills
- High-level interpersonal skills and ability to interact with multiple organizational levels of internal and external resources
- Ability and willingness to work at a fast pace in an environment that constantly changes
- Ability to think outside the box, being creative and innovative in your approach
- Comfortable with messaging patterns on professional and business social media platforms, such as LinkedIn
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social and website analytics tools knowledge
- Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels · Knowledge of web design, web development, Google Analytics, CRO and SEO will be advantage
- Passionate about financial services, technology, or digital assets
