Announcement:
Gateway.FM is looking for a Technical support engineer with knowledge of blockchain technologies to join our Presto technical support team.

What we do

We build Presto - an innovative product in the Blockchain industry which allows anyone to create their own blockchain based on zk-rollup technology in a few clicks in an automated way and smoothly run it as a service managed by Gateway.fm by delegating all the complexity of setting up, maintaining and upgrading tasks to us.

Role and responsibilities

You will be responsible for providing support to our customers (mostly technical audience) by investigating, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, resolving incidents and other deeply technical problems.

This is a customer facing role which requires great communication skills (written and verbal English) and is expected to play a key role as the front-line interface between our customer and the Infrastructure & Engineering team

Technical support Engineer should be able to learn and understand high level micro service architecture of our product, all aspects of the product functionality and features, different customer use cases and to continuously keep this knowledge up to date.

Participating in a rotating on-call schedule is required for this position.

Requirements and skills

This position requires a set of technical skills:

  • Understanding of the blockchain technology fundamentals, having extensive knowledge or specific experience with Polygon-zkevm/Optimism/Arbitrum technology would be a plus
  • Good knowledge of Linux system and command line tools
  • Ability to compose and execute API calls using tools like Postman, curl etc.
  • Basic understanding of SQL, ability to compose and execute basic queries
  • Using monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals
  • Experience with containerized micro-service application architectures
  • Being able to work within CET time zone or be at least available 5 hours within 9:00-18:00CET

  • Any scripring/programming experience
