As the Technical Program Manager for the ABBYY Platform, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our platform strategy. This position involves leading cross-functional initiatives that integrate Cloud Ops, DevOps, SRE roles, and Product Engineering teams to enhance platform capabilities and drive adoption of ABBYY technologies. Leveraging your technical expertise and program management skills, you will facilitate collaboration among internal teams and external partners to deliver innovative solutions that empower developers to build intelligent applications with ease.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Platform Strategy and Roadmap:
  • Collaborate with product management, platform engineering, and core AI/ML teams to define and execute the platform strategy and roadmap.
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and technical feedback to inform platform priorities and feature enhancements.
  • Drive the evolution of the ABBYY platform, including APIs, SDKs, documentation, and tools, ensuring integration of advanced AI/ML capabilities.
  1. Platform Optimization:
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to optimize platform operations, focusing on creating synergies between Cloud Ops, DevOps, SRE, and Product Engineering and AI/ML teams.
  • Identify usability issues, pain points, and opportunities for improvement through comprehensive feedback, user testing, and data analysis.
  • Work with design and engineering teams to prioritize and implement improvements that streamline workflows and enhance platform robustness.
  1. Platform Evangelism and Adoption:
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and technical teams to drive awareness, adoption, and advocacy of the ABBYY platform.
  • Develop technical content, documentation, and resources that support users in leveraging AI/ML capabilities within the platform.
  • Engage with developer communities, partners, and ecosystem stakeholders to promote the integrated capabilities of the ABBYY platform.
  1. Technical Program Management:
  • Manage the end-to-end execution of cross-functional platform-related initiatives, including project planning, resource allocation, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Ensure alignment and efficient collaboration among Cloud Ops, DevOps, SRE, and Product Engineering teams to deliver key projects on time.
  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks across technical domains, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  1. Continuous Improvement:
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the platform team, especially in integrating AI/ML technologies.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from all stakeholders to optimize platform features and functionalities.
  • Iterate on platform processes based on user feedback, market trends, and technological advancements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in technical program management or related roles in the technology industry, particularly in cloud platforms
  • Strong understanding of APIs, SDKs, cloud technologies, and machine learning integrations.
  • Demonstrated ability in leading cross-functional teams and driving platform adoption through strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly conveying complex technical concepts.
  • 5+ years of experience working directly with SRE teams, developing strategies for system reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Trello) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams).
  • Passion for technology, innovation, and enhancing user engagement through platform strategy and execution
