The EMEA Event and Partner Marketing Manager is a dual role responsible for both event marketing management and a limited number of partner events in EMEA. The focus is on event management - from competitive intelligence, budgeting, creative planning, organisation and reporting to lead management and communications and reporting. This role is central to building ABBYY's reputation and awareness and not to forget Pipeline   through innovative, engaging events utilizing strategic partnerships.  

Job Responsibilities:

Event Management 

  • Develop and Execute Events: Plan and execute ABBYY’s in-person and virtual events, including webinars and reference huddles.
  • Innovative Event Development: Create engaging events that drive revenue, increase awareness, and engage clients and prospects.
  • Technology Integration: Leverage technology platforms and integrate them with internal CRM systems.
  • Project Coordination: Maintain a single event plan, coordinating all involved parties internally and externally.
  • Event Standardization: Ensure high-quality content, speaker quality, PR, social media coverage, and partner engagement across all events.
  • Reference Content: Manage “Reference Huddles” videos and webinars to maintain “always on” content throughout the sales cycle.
  • Vendor Management: Work with event agencies and logistics providers to ensure smooth execution.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor events and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Speaker Management: Oversee speaker selection, training, and curation.
  • On-Site Coordination: Provide on-site support or arrange for on-site personnel as needed.
  • ROI Management: Partner with Field Marketing and Sales to ensure events meet revenue, retention, and reputation goals.
  • Logistics Management: Oversee event logistics from concept to post-event, including attendee registrations, email communications, and budget management.
  • KPI Measurement: Set and measure KPIs to ensure a 15x ROI on events.
  • Best Practices Adherence: Stay current with event planning best practices, technology, and design trends.
  • Vendor Relations: Build relationships with vendors to implement creative and logistical aspects of virtual events.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and create process improvements for event management.
  • Brand Presence: Maximize ABBYY’s brand presence at events through consistent identity, speaking opportunities, and digital innovations.
  • Client Experience: Deliver premium client experiences at various events, including roundtables, conferences, and hospitality events.
  • Negotiation and Relationship Management: Negotiate venue and sponsorship deals and manage vendor relationships.
  • Resource Efficiency: Drive resource and cost efficiencies through global processes, documentation, and reporting.
  • Digital Content Creation: Support digital and video content creation at events and manage post-event communication to enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Sustainability: Improve the environmental footprint of ABBYY events through best practice sustainability efforts.

 Partner Marketing

  • Top Partner Tactics: In this role, the focus is on collaborating with Channel / partner leadership, assign demand budget allocation and work with partner, alliances to execute collaborative marketing tactics, programs and Campaigns.

Job Requirements:
Experience: 

  • 5+ years of experience in producing virtual, hybrid- and in-person events.
  • Proven success in generating leads via client/prospect engagement programs.

Education: 

  • Degree in marketing with proven experience in Event management
    or several years in depth equivalent experience in event management at agencies.

Skills: 

  • Excellent communication skills (spoken and written).
  • Experience with event tools like SalesForce, MS office, ZoomInfo, MS Teams, Zoom, Cvent, ON24, Socialive, GlobalMeet, Webex.
  • Proficiency in French and English - German and Spanish is a plus.

  • The possibility to visit the Paris office at least once a week.
