Senior Manager - Amazon
Your focus:
Your role is to lead a portfolio of Amazon Retail clients within the wider Retail Media team, deepening our partnership with them to solve complex business challenges through a combination of Brainlabs’ products and services. With the support of the Associate Director & Director, you will drive the retail strategy for your clients on Amazon and display a working knowledge of platforms such as Amazon, Criteo, Citrus Ads/Epsilon. Your role will be to give your clients a consistent, best in class experience. You will:
- Build strong client relationships as the day to day lead with support from
- Produce and implement best in class strategies for our clients which cover their existing services and potential cross sell opportunities
- Work closely with content teams, retail media managers, and wider delivery teams to ensure we deliver accurate, best in class work for our clients; driving quality before work is shared with clients
Success is ultimately measured through client retention, happiness and growth.
Clients & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, product) to align retail strategies with broader brand initiatives.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets on Amazon
- Deep understanding of Amazon’s platforms, required for Vendor Central and Amazon Advertising, and desirable for Seller Central
- Act as the main point of contact for retail clients and partners, and with the support of senior leadership provide strategic guidance and performance updates.
- Manage relationships with retailers and external media agencies to ensure campaign success and performance.
- Accountable for all product delivery across the portfolio, ensuring all work is delivered on time to a high standard
- Lead and deliver a plan for clients that drives client satisfaction, with CSAT scores of at least 8 per client
- Facilitate knowledge sharing to ensure yourself and the wider team are subject matter experts on Amazon; providing up to date information & recommendations to clients
- Build deep 121 relationships with day to day client contacts
- Translate key sales & data points into an executive summary for client consumption with a clear set of outputs.
Product
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive Amazon Retail strategies that align with the brand’s overall sales goals.
- Optimise ad placements, targeting, and bidding strategies to maximise ROI and drive business growth
- Foundational knowledge of every Brainlabs product, able to speak at a high level to clients, and specialised knowledge of at least one channel (Amazon Retail, Amazon Ads + broader Retail Media).
- Responsible for target experiments into Hippocampus
- Responsible for innovation and testing success on client accounts, driving testing success through client-specific testing roadmaps
Commercial
- Work with your Account Director to ensure accurate forecasting across known revenue and hubspot pipeline
- Proactively think of ways to be more efficient and effective with time through process and automation, to minimise risk of error and enable us to run clients profitably
Operational and team management
- Be an excellent team player and be able to motivate the people around you
- Identify opportunities to further your growth and training
- Follow the BL feedback and review process: setting clear objectives that are linked to the company goals
- Follow processes within the team for effective client management and delivery
- Develop your team through proactive feedback, and provide knowledge and support on advanced concepts in your area of expertise
- Be a champion for the culture code and driving home the importance of our values within your teams
New Business & Cross Sell
- Contribute to new business pitches in your area of expertise, typically through supporting a forecast and also identifying growth opportunities for clients
- Contribute to upselling and cross-selling of our services to your client portfolio, working with Account Directors and delivery teams to ensure the proposal is specific to our clients.
