The BP&A Team plays an important role in our operations and partners closely with the trading, finance, and management teams to understand their needs and provide them with meaningful insights through data analysis and reporting. We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Developer with strong Python, dashboarding, interpersonal skills, and an interest in finance and trading.

Your Core Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with the business as a trusted advisor to develop solutions to their analytical challenges as an internal-client-worker
  • Develop new dashboards, ETLs and maintain the existing product offering
  • Independently work with stakeholders on all parts of the product delivery cycle: planning, requirement gathering, system design, development, testing, and deployment to production
  • Use Python to extend the functionality of the analytics database to efficiently build new ETLs
  • Mentor and train junior team members
  • You will act as a trusted advisor in the field of analytics in all areas of the business
  • Work closely with other BI developers and engineers to maintain and develop best practices. Partner with cross-functional teams to develop analytic solutions, collaborating with global teams in Chicago and Sydney while reporting to the local BP&A lead.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • 7+ years as a BI Developer, Data Engineer, or similar experience
  • Strong experience in Python and SQL is required
  • Demonstrated experience developing business reporting applications (QlikSense, Tableau, or similar BI tool), end-to-end
  • Demonstrated experience developing ETL pipelines and architecture
  • Previous experience in trading is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Someone who thrives within a dynamic, quickly changing environment; is curious and self-driven
