Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic joint business plans with leading fashion brands.
  • Lead the expansion of Turkish partner brands and markets, including Defacto, LC Waikiki, Trendyol, Koton, and Hepsiburada.
  • Drive top-line performance while optimizing monetization and profitability through Jumia’s assets (marketing, logistics, and payments).
  • Establish a Turkish sourcing hub, creating routes to market across regions, onboarding 3PLs to ensure competitive costs, and building a dedicated team.
  • Scale the 1P retail model by setting up processes for ordering, inventory management, and margin structures aligned with profitability targets, and develop BI tools to monitor performance.
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns with marketing and advertising teams.
  • Support eCommerce growth and education across various markets.
  • Lead frequent promotions for customer acquisition and retention, including Black Friday, Jumia Anniversary, and Brand Festival.
  • Organize SuperBrand Days to boost brand awareness and sales on the platform.
  • Contribute to developing “Jumia Official Stores,” a dedicated brand-owned universe.
  • Actively participate in tech initiatives to enhance the user experience for brands and customers.
  • Implement best practices from advanced eCommerce markets through partnerships with key industry players.
  • Drive structural initiatives to grow the Fashion category across all markets.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in the fashion industry, with experience in Turkey as a strong advantage.
  • Proven track record of business growth and success in developing and executing business strategies.
  • Fluent in English (Turkish is a strong plus).
  • Location: Based in one of Jumia’s offices in Casablanca, Cairo, or Lagos.
