We are seeking a project management intern looking to gain real-world experience in the field of project management. This internship is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop relationship management, organizational, and technical skills in a hands-on environment. This person will work as part of the team to help facilitate, plan and report on commercial projects. This includes interacting and liaising with clients and internal stakeholders, estimating and coordinating project tasks and timelines, gathering materials and communicating project details. The Project Manager will report to the Director of Project Management and must work closely with different parts of the business, including sales, editorial, marketing, operations, and technology.
The ideal candidate must be highly organized, have strong communication skills and be able to juggle simultaneous projects. The internship will primarily be focused on project management but may also include other cross-functional tasks, involving data, client service and operations. The program will provide an excellent opportunity to gain valuable insight into the inner workings of a media business.
Project management for sponsored content, including client-facing activities
Project management for CRM integrations, including client-facing activities
Ensure projects are executed properly and delivered on schedule
Delegate tasks and hold stakeholders accountable for meeting project requirements and deadlines
Work closely with clients and internal staff to understand project scope, complexity, effort, risk, resource needs, and timelines
Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, timelines, and alternate scenarios
Establish clear KPIs that can be monitored and reported back to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Maintain and disseminate project status and metrics in a timely manner
Timely communication of all project blockers
Review project requirements with necessary parties to convert into plans
Work closely with teams throughout projects to fine tune estimates and assess risks
Adhering to and supporting Money-Media’s goals, mission, objectives, and culture statements
Must have excellent facilitation, written and verbal communication skills
Must be an enthusiastic, friendly person with a positive and responsive attitude
Must have strong analytical skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects
Proficient in MS Office applications. Must be very comfortable working with Excel or other spreadsheet programs.
Must be highly organized; ability to coordinate work with multiple departments and driven to keeping projects on schedule
Must be flexible; be willing and able to generate creative solutions to roadblocks
