What you will be doing
- Team Leadership (50%)
- Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of 5 UX Designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to support professional growth and development.
- Lead team meetings and workshops to share insights, align on design strategies, and promote best practices in UX design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Individual Contribution (50%)
- Lead the design process for key projects, from research and ideation to prototyping and user testing.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that align with business goals and user needs.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Advocate for the end-user by ensuring that all design solutions are user-centered and data-driven.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve design processes and deliver innovative solutions.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in UX design, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Proven experience managing and mentoring a team of designers.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX design, including research, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing.
- Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
