YouGov is adding to its B2B Content Team! This is new role and the person who fills it will be responsible for creating articles that showcase our data and expertise to clients and prospects in Germany.

This is an exciting, varied position that will cover a wide range of sectors. The content you create will be the basis for digital, PR, marketing and social activity, attracting prospects and engaging and informing existing clients. You will have a large degree of autonomy over what you write about so you will need to show that you have a keen sense of what is interesting to business readers.

What will I be responsible for? This role is designed to drive awareness of the YouGov brand in Germany through the creation of a steady stream of content that is based on the data we collect from consumers. In all, nearly a million members of the German public take our surveys.

You will:

  • Learn how to use the wide range of intuitive data tools we sell to clients
  • Work with senior stakeholders to come up with ideas for content, as well as content strategies
  • Analyze the data our tools provide to uncover interesting stories
  • Turn data into a range of short-form content (blogs, analysis, profiles pieces etc) to support the company’s marketing activities
  • Work across a range of sector verticals (eg automotive, sport, retail, leisure) to produce interesting and engaging content
  • Write and field your own questions in your own surveys to explore emerging trends or quantify existing ones
  • Work as part of a global content team which offers great support, help and advice
  • Work autonomously and independently to drive improvements in key metrics like users, impressions etc

What do I need to bring with me?

  • Good writing skills, great accuracy and attention to detail. Precision in your writing is essential in this role.
  • A strong news sense and a natural curiosity about people, their behaviors and their habits
  • German is your most comfortable language both spoken and written; you master English at a business level (the team communication stretches from Mexico to Singapore colleagues)
  • Strong numeracy skills – this isn’t a job where you can fake this skill, even if the YouGov tools make number-crunching really easy
  • Ability to interpret data
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • The ability and willingness to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders and manage competing demands
